We have recently had the opportunity to re-visit an extension and renovation project, which finished on site in summer 2019, to see the completed project. The project involved the construction of a two-storey extension to the rear of the property and quite extensive internal alterations to turn a traditional early twentieth century three bedroom, detached property into a four bedroom, striking family home. The drawings below show the changes made to the plan of the building from the original layout.

The rear extension picks up features of the existing property, such as the pitched roof and white render, but through contemporary features and details is clearly marked as a modern addition. The large windows at ground floor and the feature box window to the first floor give the extension its striking appearance.
