Established in 2016, Laura Gerada Architects are residential design specialists working in and around Nottingham (as well as some forays into Essex due to family ties!). We believe that a well designed environment should not only make life easier but should lift your spirits and make you feel that little bit better about the world.

A chink of afternoon sunlight sneaking in to brighten a winter afternoon, the satisfying click as you open the door to a well-organised garage, the feel of wood beneath your feet as you cross the room; whether it be home or work the small details add up to the backdrop of your life. This backdrop should be as practical and as beautiful as possible, offering surprise and delight.

Good design is also responsive to our environment. Like many aspects of our modern lives, buildings have become vast consumers of energy and resources. Laura Gerada Architects’ approach to design comes from fundamentally sustainable principles. Carefully tailoring our architecture to be resource and energy efficient with a healthy indoor environment means that your project will bring with it the added benefits of a low carbon footprint and low running costs.

Laura Gerada is an ARB registered architect and Chartered Member of the Royal Institute of British Architects.
